about

"If you ever wanted to listen to the perfect soundtrack to the perfect horror movie, Black Cloud's "Everything Is Not Going To Be OK" is that album. - Ink In Stereo

"...a mostly instrumental guide to falling face first into the concrete and giving up on life completely, delivered with pessimistic conviction and a fair share of bombast." - OMG Vinyl

"...a distinct sound, one that is ambient and spacey-while equally crushing and loud." - DC Music Download

DC's Black Clouds make music to remind you that post-rock isn't all about sunshine and fucking rainbows. They refer to themselves as "a loud, massive bumout" and to my ears that's a pretty accurate description. Imagine a more post-rock, sinister The Cancer Conspiracy paired with Godflesh-esque bass tones and the vibe of Godspeed You! Black Emperor at their most negative and you'll start to get the idea. Featuring guest ranting and ravings by Neil Fallon of Clutch.

Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies on Red/Black Swirl, Translucent Red and Black vinyl.
